**There seems to be some confusion when it comes to what to call a real estate professional, whether it’s Realtor or Realitor, even among news reporters and journalists, not to mention the rest of us. The term Realtor is registered with the National Association of Realtors and is the correct spelling/pronunciation for people who are members of NAR.

This is confusing enough that the NAR actually does education with members regarding the term Realtor as some members even say it the wrong way.

I’m happy to answer to either as I am more interested in helping you buy or sell a home than correct your pronunciation.

The easy way to remember this I think is to say would you call a doctor a docitor?
